Prof. SONG Wei, Dean of School of Public Affairs of University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), gave two classes of mater and doctoral degree in School of Law of Masaryk University (Czech Republic) from Sept 29th to Oct 27th during his academic visit.

Prof. SONG taught the 18 master degree students about Law-Science-Technology: Chinese Perspective, while offering the doctoral students a course of Chinese Trademark and Patent Law. Each course is three credits. The content and effect of teaching impressed and highly praised by students. They said they had benefited a lot from the courses. Every student finished a final paper and Prof. Song gave his comments. All 26 students successfully passed their courses.

In addition, Prof. SONG also took part in academic activities and communicated with MU faculties about academic teaching and research. His visiting has very important meaning of promoting MU students' understanding to Chinese intellectual property legal system and science and technology policy, especially to lay a good foundation for further communication and cooperation. Prof. SONG talked a lot with Deans of MU Law School on further cooperation in academic fields between two universities, including strengthening exchanges and more academic exchange programs .
