On May 29th, Research University League of the Yangtze River Delta held the second batch of cooperative project conferences in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) alongside with Fudan University (FDU), Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU), Nanjing University (NJU), Zhejiang University (ZJU) jointly released the second batch of cooperation projects to deepen cooperation within the League. Prof. FU Yao, the assistant principal of USTC, attended the conference.
Research University League of the Yangtze River Delta was established in May 2019. On 7th September 2019, the League released the first batch of cooperative projects.
This year, five projects based on the previous batch were released. They were the Ternary Space Intelligence Innovation Platform led by Fudan University, the Translational Medicine Innovation Project led by Shanghai Jiaotong University, and the Yangtze River Delta Culture Heritage Conservation and Cultural Resources Sharing Research led by Nanjing University, the Top Talent Training plan of Artificial Intelligence led by Zhejiang University and the first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum within the League led by the University of Science and Technology of China.
At the conference, USTC introduced the leading projects in details. The first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum within the League will organize several high-level innovation and entrepreneurship competitions firstly. And it will invite famous investors, well-known corporate executives, and experts of innovation and entrepreneurship education to deliver keynote speeches. Besides, USTC will organize dialogues between the well-known alumni and youth entrepreneurs. All of the above are aimed to promote sharing experience, resources and achievements within the League and further explore the mechanism for the cultivation of innovative talents.
During the meeting, leaders of the participating universities conducted on-site investigations. Meanwhile, the universities discussed how to make the League work deeper and more practical and how to make greater contributions to the development of higher quality integration in the Yangtze River Delta Region.
