On November 9, the 2020 Autumn Art Show started at 6 pm in the Modern Art Center on the Central Campus of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).

The art exhibition aimed to energize the cultural and art atmosphere of the campus, to facilitate the interaction and cooperation between art teaching and students’ associations, to provide students and faculty members with various opportunities to improve their ability of appreciation and strengthen their mutual exchanges, as well as to reflect the colorful cultural life of students in USTC.

Opened with the piano solo Sunflower, the art show attracted numbers of teachers and students to come and they all enjoyed themselves and had a warm interaction with each other. The exhibition hall was filled with beautiful songs, which kept drawing students who happened to pass by to visit.

It took nearly two months to fulfill the preparation of this exhibition, including planning, open collection, printing, framing, publicity and hall decoration. The responsible leaders and teachers also presented their care and support, and given beneficial guidance on some specific tasks.

There were 89 works on show, which consisted of color lead, sketch, water color, cartoon and oil painting and computer painting. The abundance in kinds and contents revealed the appreciation of beauty and art cultivation of students.
