University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) held the Law Brighten Life, Walk with the Constitution -- Legal Publicity Week Campaign on December 4th. The campaign was organized in order to promote the awareness of the rule of law of students and consisted of two parts: constitution recitation and constitutional knowledge contest.
Constitution recitation
On Dec. 4th, the National Constitution Day, folders with legal knowledge closely related to teachers and students were distributed in the campus. Students recited the Constitution of the People's Republic of China at the activity site, attracting the attention of many passing teachers and students. The constitutional belief was shaped in the ritual sense of reading the constitution.
On Dec. 10th, Law Is Fabulous -- legal knowledge contest for USTC faculties was held. The activity was in the combination form of legal knowledge preaching, orientation walk on campus and winning prizes by answering questions and collecting badges.
The event was scheduled to start at 12:00 noon, but many faculties already signed in before 11:00. The participants passed through the Waterborne Lecture Hall, Old North Gate, GUO Moruo Square and the Great Hall in turn with their answer cards, and received a medallion for each point after answering the corresponding questions.

The Legal Publicity Week Campaign was carried out orderly during the week. It not only created a strong atmosphere of legal learning and enhanced the awareness of faculties and students to protect their rights according to the law, but also improved the awareness and concept of respecting the law, learning the law, maintaining the law and promoting the law.
