Fun Games Hosted Celebrating International Woman's Day
On March 8th, an amusing sports contest for female staff, an event for celebrating International Woman's Day, was hosted on the playground of the east campus, and nearly one thousand women from all the faculties around the college participated in the games.
JIANG Yi, deputy secretary of the standing committee of the party committee of USTC, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, extending festive greetings and best wishes to all the female teachers and workers, encouraging them to make more achievements and live a wonderful life.
The contest contained four funny sports projects, hula hoop, running while keeping a ping pong bouncing, frisbee, and pot-pitching. Participants competed with each other with intensity and fun, and the audience cheered for them amid laughter and joy.
As a traditional activity of the school union to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, the Fun Games for female faculty and staff has gradually become a sports event that promotes the physical and mental health of female faculty and staff and harmony on campus. This year, there are to be more activities for Woman's Day.
