From Feb 17th to 18th, 2025, Vice President of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), YANG Jinlong, attended the 2nd Asian Universities Science and Technology Innovation Forum in Tokyo, Japan. This visit strengthened USTC’s cooperation with Asian universities and research institutions, laying a solid foundation for future technological innovation and development.

During the visit, Vice President YANG delivered a keynote speech titled “Empowering Education and Research with AI: Practices from USTC”, highlighting the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in education and scientific research, which sparked lively discussions.

He also held talks with Vice President of Nagoya University, reaching preliminary agreements on enhancing inter-university collaboration, academic exchanges, and student visits. Additionally, he met with USTC alumni in Japan, encouraging them to contribute to China-Japan scientific and technological exchanges.
