“The Science and Technology Week 2018” was held in the Venetian Macao from October 10th to 14th. And USTC made a colorful debut in the exhibition: the popular science program called “The colorful nature and the multicolored chemistry” is presented for the first time there.

The popular science program “The colorful nature and the multicolored chemistry” takes common vegetables and fruits as objects which undergo gorgeous color change during the interactive experiments revealing the multicolored chemistry knowledge behind the colorful nature.  It lead students, especially those from primary schools and middle schools to appreciate the charm and magic of chemistry. 

“The Science and Technology Week” is an annual science popularizing charity event supported by the National Technology Departm ent. It is mainly operated by the technology committee of the Government of the Macao SAR of the People’s Republic of China, in the charge of the Science and Technology Development Fund, and is assisted by organizations like the Chinese Academy of Science and the China Science and

 Technology Exchange Center. With a site of 8000 square meters and approximately 120 programs on show, the event held this year attracts 26,000 attendees, the pick level in history.
