The visits to the supercomputing center provided campers with insights into the practical application of quantum products, the future development direction of the quantum industry, and the hard work of designing a supercomputer.
At the 58th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC58), campers received a detailed explanation of the development, staff scale, corporate culture, and its development vision and honors.

Campers also came to the Wuxi Research Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), a new type of research and development institution that promotes technology transfer and boosts local innovation, to learn about its background, talent teams, technology research and development, and gain some useful information of its scientific results.
During the session of “Thinking of Youth–Speech of Seniors”, DONG Peiru, as the representative of campers, delivered a speech on what he gained from this summer camp.
On August 23rd, the students visited Shanghai Institute for Advanced Studies (SIAS) of University of Science and Technology of China, where they enjoyed a warm welcome by Secretary of the Party Committee of SIAS, Ms. YIN Juan, and Prof. XU Feihu.
Prof. HUO Yongheng gave a fundamental introduction of SRI and Prof. SUN Qichao introduced their research team and main research directions of quantum physics and quantum information. In the following session, Prof. Johannes Majer, LIAO Shengkai and other experts were invited to make an in-dept exchanges with the campers.

During their visit in SIAS, campers explored several laboratories, including those dedicated to medium and high orbit quantum science satellite, quantum communication and time-frequency transmission, thereby gaining a closer look into the world of scientific research.
After the camp, many students chose to stay at SIAS for a deeper exploration into their interested laboratories.

Throughout the summer camp, campers were deeply impressed by the progress made in the field of quantum science and technology. They also came to realize the significance of strengthening our country’s capability and self-reliance in science and technology, and that only through vigorous and determined endeavor can we fulfill our responsibility to history, prove worthy of our times and live up to people’s expectations.
