Abstract: Tremendous progress has been madeover the past decadeson the study of the strongly interacting atomic Fermi gases near Feshbach resonances. The high controllability of both the external trapping potentials and atom-atom interactions has made these cold gases the ideal systems to study exotic many-body physics. I will describe some recent experiment sonultra cold quantum gases of6Li:First, we have achievedboth a highly degenerate Fermi gas of 6Li atoms and a Bose-Einstein condensation of 6Li2molecules by an all-optical method;second, we will measure the shear viscosity on unitary;third, we have studied the Efimovian expansion in scale-invariant Fermi gases.
